The house is located a short walk from the Village Shuttle, which runs every 30 minutes to the Snowmass Center (grocery store, drug and liquor store) and to the Mall (the Snowmass skiing area). There are outstanding views of the surrounding mountains (including the Snowmass ski area), Anderson Ranch, the golf course and the little red schoolhouse, with the Continental Divide in the background. Aspen and Ajax Mountain are about 15 minutes away, either by car or by bus, and the Buttermilk and Aspen Highland ski areas are even closer.

The house is a non-smoking house. No pets, please.

The house could comfortably sleep 8 persons. It contains three bedrooms, 2 of which are on the main level. These bedrooms each have two twin beds. The third bedroom is on the upper level and has a queen-size bed, a separate dressing area and double lavatories. There is also a hide-a-bed on the main level. There are 2 full bathrooms.

A washer and dryer are available on the lower level.

The main level also has a modern kitchen, a kitchen island, and a large dining table seating twelve people. The living room is quite large and adjoins the library, each of which has a separate TV set. A double-fireplace, with glass doors, is between the living room and the library.

One of our favorites about the house is the large side yard, which sits on a hill, which the kids (and grownups) love to use for sledding during the winter.

There is adequate parking in the driveway for one or two cars (provided that room is left for the snowplows scraping the driveway). We also supply a parking permit that allows parking in any of the Village parking lots.
